We here at DearFilm understand the plight of the Modern Man. We understand that we live our lives in duel spheres of relaxation and rush. Some days there just isn’t enough time to read a full-on essay about a film. Sometimes you just want to know the gist of it.
So as a counterpoint to our more extensive correspondence, we at DearFilm are introducing a whole new way to read our criticism.
Much as their name suggests, these brief little reviews are compact versions of our longer letters. They distill the spirit of the longer essay down into a simple, straightforward sample.
You can find a link for each main review’s Postcard counterpart at the top of each review, and vice versa. Or, you can go to “Reviews by Type” on the main menu bar and select “Postcard Reviews.”
So if you want to know what we think, but need to make up your mind in a hurry, take heart. We’ve got you covered.
